“Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.”Genesis 1:3-4 NKJV

In the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth, the Bible states that it was formless and empty, and had the presence of darkness upon it. It also stated that the Spirit of God was also present brooding over the (so called) chaos(which was rather ignorance), or in others words He was containing (what was hidden in the shadows) or keeping it within its limits to restricting its effect, because what God had made by then was yet to be revealed.

He then called out the element, LIGHT, which made a great difference and brought meaning to His work. Light reveals Gods glory. Yes the Light brought revelation, clarity, understanding and truth which annulled all misconceptions about Gods intent for mankind, so that we could be directed and guided. It exposed the blueprints of his Plan.

The presentation of light unveiled the glorious foundations upon which God was about to lay down creation.

Creation was the second teacher of mankind(God – the first to Adam). We learnt by watching the world around us, being clueless of purpose and who we were made to be. People are who they are because of what they’ve watched！

Have you wondered why we have eyes? It’s one of the greatest and effective messenger of information to the brain. You need eyes to see light and make sense of what’s before you, in the absence of the other, vision is impossible. When the eyes are unavailable, other senses can be used as guide, but unconfidently.

Paul said in Ephesians 1:18… that the eye of my understanding be enlightened to know…, You can’t claim you have knowledge until you are enlightened to understand!! Without Enlightenment you’ll read the same passage for 10years and not grasp the message.

The Light of God makes all things transparent and makes everything bear, nothing is hidden in the presence of light.

Therefore, in order to lead people under the influence of Light, we must lead by being examples, guided by our own professions. Our lives must be transparent. We must be undoubtedly distinguished in our speech and way of life. Our lives must be genuinely patent to all, that they can hurriedly know our intentions, desires, visions and goals. We must be open and sincere when communicating our beliefs to others hence repelling doubt, mistrust and misguidance. Adam and Eve never had an experience with darkness prior to the fall, because God took time to expose Himself to them. The devil was the first to introduce darkness again when he cunningly deceived Eve. He lied. Lie put us under the influence of darkness, Chaos and ignorance again?… Adam and Eve then became unsure of who God was, who they were, their purpose and Gods instructions, so they did what was forbidden-misguided ( clearly the devil had no vision he lived in darkness ).

The enemy turned the truth of God into a lie……

“who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.” Romans 1:25 NKJV

The truth of God is what He says, and the word of God is incomprehensible, unappealing and probably chaotic to man until the Light is turned on.

The spirit of God promotes the knowledge of God and enlightens all who believe in Christ Jesus, by organizing an encounter with Jesus as an encounter with a Great Light.

This is the reason why the Light of God came in human form, as the Light of the world to walk with man again, like in the garden and revealed himself as the Truth.

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12

Jesus exited with the entrance of the Spirit of God released to hover upon the world so that darkness can’t dominate again.

Do you see the reason why we are not being overcome by the oceans of lies the enemy is releasing? We Are sealed and the Light which is Christ can’t loose its power.

This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5

“The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined.” Isaiah 9:2 NKJV

There is Life in light because under the influence of light you won’t fall into a pit or bump your feet. …..Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.. psalm 119:105

Obedience is a form worship and the more we entertain lies and deception the more we worship the enemy with our souls and become agents who lead others astray.

“Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭60‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Let’s paraphrase, Now!!! Arise, shine( stop hiding yourself, don’t be silent on the truth); For your light (God is revealed)has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you( the spirit of God has sealed you and is hovering over you, ready to use you)

We have been given the mandate to Shine the light of God everywhere we go. Light is mobile, it occupies and is the fastest element on earth, it moves at a speed of 300,000,000m/s and its straight and directly on point. Therefore when light is aimed at a particular area or person, the speed and energy emitted can’t be missed. Just imagine the speed of Christ when you asked him into your heart, he gives no place for doubt.

No matter the number of years a person has lived in ignorance or evil, the entrance of light brings transformation, mind renewal and life!!!

Light is ineffective in the presence Light, so to experience the transformative power of light we must light up every darkeness with the truth of God. The children of light must move into all corners of the earth with the light of the Word, to expel fear, confusions and the lies of the enemy and reveal Christ and his will for mankind. You are the mobile light of God, put yourself on the lamp stand and illuminate everyone ……(mattew 5;14-1)

People are often influenced by those they perceive as knowledgeable and credible. As leaders, partners and parents we must be fair with our followers or children, our communication must be free from all sorts of queries. No matter the circumstance you find yourself make all your communications sincere to avoid the rule of darkness(confusion) in your life or of others.

Avoid sharing informations that are unverified or has the potential of destroying another’s image. Provide valuable, accurate, and relevant information that can influence decision-making and actions.

Look for opportunities to lend a helping hand, volunteer, teach, or contribute your skills to help others. We must learn the skill of Good listening to be able to notice errors and misconceptions and lit them up.

Seek to bridge division and build connections among diverse groups of people by boldly speaking the truth in love, Offering words of encouragement and affirmation to all.

Prayer

God of Light, shine over me and my household and expose all darkness. Make our hearts your abode and shine your light through our speech and actions. Forgive all my lies and deceptions, work in my heart Lord. Reveal to me every area of life I can shine on, lead me to people and places where your glory will be seen. Thank you for the safety we have in you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
