THE AWE THEORY- Day 2

Turkish delight, is a sweet treat renowned for its exquisite beauty. Its colorful appearance, delights the eyes. Each piece is adorned with powdered sugar or coconut, creating an inviting allure. Inside, a variety of flavors and textures await, from floral notes of rosewater or orange blossom to the rich crunch of assorted nuts. This combination of visual appeal and delectable taste makes Turkish delight a truly delightful and beautiful confection.

The highlights of our delight, isn’t just the taste but most importantly the array of colors, which is truly visually appealing. Colors are a captivating and awe-inspiring aspect of our world, infusing life with vibrancy and emotion. They enrich our lives, sparking creativity and providing a deeper understanding of the world’s complexity and beauty. Colors are a gift that makes life an extraordinary journey of discovery and wonder.

Every color created by man has always existed as replica of what’s in nature. It didn’t exist by mistake or an accident, it all didn’t happen as a result of a “Big Bang”.

At the interception of Eternity, time was formed. But before there was ever a time, before there was ever a universe and before there were ever the thought of people, there was God.

In the beginning, God…… Genesis 1:1

God is Eternity and since no one can fully grasp eternity, no one can fully grasp God. Genesis is the book of all beginnings, where God was first mentioned, so neglecting it is at our own expense.

It’s creation story, exposes a Creator; Elohim, works of art, a purpose and the meaning of life. Can you glorify an art independent of the artist? Remember, It’s out of the abundant artworks, you get to see and appreciate that single piece.

The Theory of Awe is a profound realization of God’s infinite power, wisdom, and presence in the universe. The awe of God can be inspired exclusively by 1. witnessing the beauty of nature, 2. pondering the complexities of creation, or reflecting on the miraculous aspects of life.

Nature is a billboard of just a portion of God’s glory. It shows off the splendor, majesty, greatness and glory of God. There’s no telescope, in the past, present or future, with the capacity to see in totality, the work of God. His work is on a canvas bigger than we can ever dream! Why? Because he doesn’t possess brains like we do, He’s thoughts are higher than ours and His ways too!

“To whom will you compare me? Or who is my equal?” says the Holy One. Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭25‬-‭26‬ ‭NIV‬‬
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭19‬:‭1‬ ‭NIV‬‬
“When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭8‬:‭3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The whole Universe is telling us that God is big! For him to create the planets then he should be bigger than the planet physically. He then suspends them all by His Power, that defies physics and all efforts of science! The kind of order and precision in the universe is awesome. And the emotion towards this knowledge is supposed to be towards the Creator, not the creation!

David said, considering, thinking carefully or paying attention to Gods works ( the heavens and earth), he is so astonished that he wonders the essence of mankind and God’s presence with man. Man in the presence of a Big God!

And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, Revelation 7:11

I can only but imagine, our reaction when God reveals himself fully to us. I bet we can only collapse because there will be no option for death. His Works are reflecting his glory and we are marveled, can we stand the plain sight of God?

God is! Yes God is! He exists! Stand in awe of him. He is the omnipresent, omniscience and omnipotent One. He is the One who give us shade from the scorching Sun. He is the One who gives boundaries to the rolling sea. He is the one who causes the ground to produce food. He is the only Life giver and sustainer. He is the one who knows the number of sand particles on planet earth, number of stars in the sky and the number of hairs on our heads.

He is worthy of every praise, worship, song, applaud and glory. If you believe with me, why don’t you give him All. Let Adorations break out from the fountains of your belly, let your voice sound through the corridors of heaven- Glory to Yahweh. In His splendor we are in Awe!! God is, therefore let’s stand in awe of him!!!
