The LIFELINE-“Embrace Your Divine Purpose” – Day 14 Finals

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

In a world filled with distractions and busyness, there is a call echoing across the hearts of all people—a call from God. Much like a cell phone that we all possess, this call is persistent, reaching out to us and inviting us to connect with our Creator.

Some individuals have placed their spiritual “phone” on “flight mode.” They’ve intentionally disconnected from the frequency of God’s call, perhaps due to skepticism, doubt, or life’s trials that have led them to question His existence or His interest in them. They remain oblivious to the invitation, living in a temporary silence.

Others have set their spiritual “phone” on “vibration.” They sense the call, albeit subtly. It’s there, just beneath the surface, sometimes causing a slight disruption in the rhythm of their lives. They might catch glimpses of the Divine, experience moments of awe in nature, or feel a stirring in their hearts during moments of reflection.

Then there are those whose spiritual “phone” is “off.” They’ve consciously chosen to silence the call, intentionally pushing it to the background of their lives. They may be preoccupied with their ambitions, material pursuits, or caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily existence. The call persists, but they remain unaware or indifferent to its presence.

But there are also those who have their spiritual “phone” on full volume, ready to receive the call. They are tuned in, attuned to the voice of God that speaks through creation, through the scriptures, through the quiet whispers in their hearts. They recognize the call as a lifeline, an invitation to a deeper, more meaningful existence, a relationship with God.

The question is, will we notice the call? Will we be attentive to that persistent, loving voice that seeks to draw us closer? Will we be open to the wonders that lie beyond our immediate concerns, the beauty of a purposeful life in alignment with our Creator’s plan?

Dear friends, the most transformative and beautiful aspects of our faith, is a call that echoes throughout history, reaching out to each of us, inviting us to join in His magnificent plan. It’s:

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

I. The Call of Purpose and Destiny:

The call of God is not random; it is intricately woven into the tapestry of our lives. The call of God reveals our purpose, designed uniquely for each of us.

II. A Call to Transformation:

The call of God challenges us to grow, to become more like Christ, and to leave behind our old ways. It offers us a fresh start, a new identity in Him.

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭28‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

III. A Call to Impact:

The call of God isn’t just about our personal growth; it’s about sharing His love with the world. The call of God empowers us to be His ambassadors, spreading His message of love, hope, and salvation.

IV. Answering the Call:

Answering the call of God requires a willing heart ( “Here am I, send me.”), a readiness to step out in faith, and a desire to follow wherever He leads. As we cultivate a relationship with God through prayer, Scripture, and a surrendered heart, we become more attuned to His call.

Prayer

Dear Lord, God all flesh, the one who initiated a relationship with me, when I wasn’t deserving, He who picked me up from the miry clay, and placed me on a rock to stand, Hallowed be Your Holy name. I give myself to you Lord, I say “Yes” to your call over my life. Take over my life and let it be sanctified only for Your Use, in Jesus name, Amen
