Verse: “But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him.”Matthews 3:15 NKJV

It’s better to fulfill God’s will than the protocol of the world. Permit it to me so now Jesus said.

John the Baptist who knew Jesus thought he wasn’t worthy to baptize the Messiah even though he was called the Baptist.

Jesus knew his position and that His place wasn’t a ‘Baptist’. Following the orders of your calling is fulfilling righteousness!

It is fitting for us as children of God to follow the order of our calling. We must be humble enough to let, others lead when it’s needed!

Resist not the order of Purpose!! It’s important to know the times and seasons, whether to stand out or hide.

At the place of influence, all actions matter, because the followers are watching!

When leaders fail to fulfil righteousness, the followers become selective on what to obey and when to obey, hence they compromise.

So Samuel said: “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.” I Samuel 15:22 NKJV

King Saul and Samuel the Prophet of God have two different and specialized roles.

Samuel can’t be King, that’s not his calling, Saul can’t do the work of a prophet or priest because it’s not in his place.

God can use anyone at any given time, but if He hasn’t, stay in your place and fulfill the orders of Your personal calling until you are reordered otherwise.

Prayer: Father thank you for giving me a reason to live, I am glad that you have chosen me in your kingdom, help me prioritize all you’ve asked of me in Jesus name. Amen!
