Justice- Day 12

Short Story:

In the bustling city of Veridonia, the formidable courthouse symbolized justice under Judge Rivers, known for her unwavering commitment to fairness. The trial of Marcus, a business owner accused of embezzlement, drew widespread attention. Amid compelling evidence against Marcus, Judge Rivers’ belief in the power of jurisdiction to deliver justice stood out.

During the trial, Marcus’s defense revealed overlooked financial records that piqued Judge Rivers’ intuition. She meticulously re-examined evidence, revealing a scheme to frame Marcus. Her dedication unveiled truth, affirming the capacity of jurisdiction to unravel deceit and uphold justice.

In a climactic moment, Judge Rivers confronted true culprits, rendering Marcus not guilty and penalizing those who manipulated justice. The astonishing outcome showcased justice’s potency in righteous hands.

As Marcus’s trial story spread, it exemplified jurisdiction’s significance—an authority capable of profound impact. Just as Judge Rivers did, God can navigate deception, right wrongs, and ensure equity, leaving lasting imprints.

"My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me." Psalm 31:15

In our relation with God, there should be a deep sense of trust and surrender to His sovereignty and protection because, life’s journey and experiences are in God’s hands,

We must acknowledges that our “times,” referring to the various seasons, moments, and experiences of life, are entrusted to God. Hence, a bare need to surrender our past, present, and future to His divine plan and guidance.

The Psalmist sought God’s deliverance from enemies and those who were actively trying to harm or pursue him. A cry to God for protection and rescue from external threats.

“Tell and bring forth your case; Yes, let them take counsel together. Who has declared this from ancient time? Who has told it from that time? Have not I, the Lord? And there is no other God besides Me, A just God and a Savior; There is none besides Me.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭45‬:‭21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The justice of God is a cornerstone of His character, reflecting His righteousness, fairness, and moral perfection. It encompasses His commitment to what is right and true in every situation. Unlike human justice, which can be influenced or flawed, God’s justice is perfect, impartial, and unchanging.

Throughout history and scripture, we see glimpses of God’s justice in action. It means that wrongs will be made right, the oppressed will find vindication, and the guilty will be held accountable. At times, this justice might seem delayed or mysterious, but it is rooted in God’s perfect timing and wisdom.

God’s justice is inseparable from His love and mercy. While justice demands consequences for wrongdoing, God’s love and mercy offer the opportunity for forgiveness and redemption through Christ.

“God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭46‬:‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

As we navigate a world filled with injustice, we find solace in knowing that God’s justice will ultimately prevail. It provides hope to the oppressed, comfort to the hurting, and a reminder that God’s ways are higher than ours. What is your case? Is there a better Judge? Is there a better defender? What kind of verdict are you expecting? God is Just!!! His help is like Shade from the scorching Sun? Taste and see that the Lord is good!!
